Within seconds: Instantaneous death of females all around the world (approx 3.95 billion fatalities), resulting in millions of accidents as drivers/pilots/captains of cars, motorcycles, busses, bikes, trains, airplanes, helicopters, boats, and ships die, resulting in possibly millions of male casualties and billions of dollars of collateral damage. Or the death of female passengers or co-pilots/co-captains is sufficiently distracting enough to make the male operators lose control of the vehicle.
Within the first minutes: Hospitals are overloaded with hundreds of millions of injured men. Doctors work around the clock to treat their patients, but the hospitals are too overloaded. Additional deaths, including a substantial amount of preventable ones, are reported as some die without receiving adequate medical care, especially in 3rd-world countries. Communication systems are overloaded with emergency calls.
After 10 minutes: Rioting, looting, and generally, opportunistic violence seizes various states. Some see the death of females as a sign of the end times and begin to prepare for the worst. Others use this opportunity to steal or kill amidst the chaos.
After 15 minutes: Governments around the world on high alert for possible foreign invasions or acts of aggressions in their temporary states of vulnerabilities. In reality, no such big conflict occurs, but rather small skirmishes.
After 30 minutes: Police are immediately dispatched to quell the unrest and sort out domestic affairs. They are supported by the national militaries of each respective government and are able to suppress the riots within hours (<24 hours).
After 1 hour: Communcation channels are gradually opened, whereupon news media all around the globe report on the events transpiring second-by-second. Governments issue emergency alerts and warning messages to the public via cable, satellite and broadcast television and both AM, FM and satellite radio to calm the public and provide a live feed as events transpire.
1 day later: Entire societies descend in to total and complete chaos as rioting, plunder, looting, theft, arson, and murder become widespread. Crime rates skyrocket. Militaries open fire on rioters in a desperate attempt to disperse the unruly crowds, resulting in hundreds of thousands of deaths and millions injured in various countries. Strict curfews are placed from dusk to dawn and soldiers are sent to patrol the streets. In less developed countries, this phase will last longer and will be more brutal and extreme. Local militias might also take this opportunity to try to overthrow government or start a civil war. Think 1992 LA riots on steroids.
Meanwhile, international relief operations commence to provide aid and relief to orphaned or abandoned children, injured men who did not receive medical attention immediately, and to help clean off dead bodies from the sidewalk, inside vehicles, buildings, rubble or wreckage (in case of airplane, helicopter, bus, or train incidents). There would be fresh corpses in massive piles in the streets in massive, mountain-like proportions never before seen, kind of like this:

No morgue would be able to support this volume of cadavers. Hasty procedures to dispose of and destroy the bodies begin, including burning, digging mass graves, dumping in bodies of water, transfer to makeshift facilities, and even dumping in open fields. The aroma of freshly burnt corpses would fill the air, ash and soot everywhere, pungent smell begins to fill entire cities' atmospheres. Air quality drops dramatically, even in already polluted cities.
2 days later: Relief operations still underway; police and military authorized to shoot on site.
1 week later: Although anarchy has been subdued and order restored to most parts of the world, suicide rates skyrocket.
1 month later: International scientific panels and conferences are held to determine the cause of this phenomenon and to solve the inevitable issue of human extinction.
6 months later: Suicide rates continue to surge and ravage the workforces and economies of several nations, bringing them to their knees.
1 year later: Suicide rates stabilize and return to pre-TFD levels. Food and otherwise other resources are found in abundance and excess. The results for the scientific inquiry are published; human extinction is inevitable, and it can only be forestalled through life extension, which doesn't help the issue at hand.
10 years later (2034): With the death of the elderly and older cohorts, population sees a decline. Rural migrations (emigrations) occur to bolster cities as cities become unable to sustain themselves due to the low population numbers.
80–150 years later (2104–2174): The last male human dies, and with him, homo sapiens sapiens officially goes extinct. However, without the presence of females in his life, this man grows up to lead a fulfilling, relatively stress-free, and enjoyable life. He dies with no regrets.
