If I were resisting arrest I would rather be tased than pepper sprayed since the spray stays in your eyes for a few hours while the taser is a jolt that burns your whoel body for just 15 seconds

Taser only hurts for a bit, but can be a bit more lethal than Pepper spray. Pepper spray is less lethal than a taser, but you'll be feeling it for quite a while afterwards. Negating pepper spray is easier with proper eye protection while tasers are harder to avoid unless you're wearing body armor with little to no metal in it.
