Vietnam:
You could get drafted anytime between 1965 and 1973
I don’t know jack really about all the different offensive and battles buts let’s say you’ll probably fight in the jungle against the invisible VC fighters
YOUR LOAD OUT
Load out 1: If you’re 4’8 - 5’6 you’ll get a m27 grenade launcher and you’ll have to do tunnel rat clearing duty with just a revolver and a knife.
Load out 2: If you’re 5’7-6’2 you’ll get a m16 and you’ll just get a flak vest and might have to get on a turret on a vehicle and provide covering fire
Loud out 3: If you’re over 190 pounds and muscular you’ll have to carry a M60 into combat and provide cover fire anytime your sergeant tells you. No more hearing I guess
ENVIRONMENT: mucky humid and shitty, tons of bugs and dangerous animals not just the pissed off asians. Lots of booby traps that will probably leave you disabled, like imagine sharpened sticks with shit sticking through your legs and dick. Yeah no thanks.
COMBAT: you’ll probably being fighting against an invisible enemy. You’ll usually just fire into a certain direction before air support blows them up. Maybe you’ll fight against the NVA but idk.
THE ENEMY: NVA and VC commies, using whatever and whenever to strike, they lack air support and Armored vehicles. It’s all impersonal guerrilla warfare.
LOCALS: I know most people in the original thread where talking about raping the local Asian foids but these people are fucking dirty man, like I don’t think villagers are taking showers or baths plus the women are flat chested due to starvation and old looking because of constant sun exposure. But yeah they’ll hate you and see you as a invading force.

Well I guess that’s it for Vietnam
WW1
You’ll get drafted anytime between 1917-1918
Americans troops obviously fought on the western front but there was divisions sent to the Italian front and even Russia. But for sake of simplicity we’ll only be discussing the war in France.
LOAD OUT
LOAD OUT 1: If you’re 4’8 - 5’6 you’ll get a pump action shotgun and a m1911
LOAD OUT 2: If you’re 5’7 - 6’2 you’ll just get a standard Springfield rifle and maybe one rifle grande
LOAD OUT 3: If you’re muscular and fit you’ll get a french chauchat, however in September 1918 you’ll get a BAR rifle instead for the final three months of the war.
ENVIRONMENT:
Shitty mud soaked wasteland, I mean we all know what no man’s land must have looked like. But yeah constant dangers at everywhere. You’ll be assigned to a trench for the most part. How ever during the final months you’ll be fighting in villages and roads/country sides as you push the Germans back
COMBAT: Artillery and large infantry assaults, you might find yourself fighting alongside French troops. Brutal trench cleaning. During the final months you’ll fight alongside a shit ton of tanks against a retreating enemy. You’ll mostly be killed by artillery then a German solider.
THE ENEMY: A shell of its former self, mostly made up of starving poorly trained conscripts. You’ll definitely have the upper hand due to tanks and a booming industrialized army of three nations. However this is a war of artillery mostly.
THE LOCALS: you’ll be seen as a hero by the French civilians, pale skinned French foids with lots a pubic hair will want to fuck you. If you’re into 1910s foids who don’t shave their pubes then I guess that’s lifefuel for you.

Noticed how it only says 53,402 died in combat? Around the same number of American deaths in the Vietnam war. Most deaths where caused by the Spanish flu.
But yeah this is a more detailed version
Both wars had the same number of combat causalities
