Anyone even near 8'11 can't even really walk. They can't even stand up without a cane. I've seen youtube videos about people close to or over 8'0. They can only "walk" very short distances and that's with using a cane or crutches.

At that height I wouldn't be able to do my job or drive my car. I suppose I'd be able to make money having the status of "talling living person" but even basic errands would be extremely difficult.

It would be an extremely shitty life either way, but I'd pick 4'11.

They can give you hormones to stop you growing though so once I get to a height of 6' 5", probably around the 7th grade, I would take hormones to block my growth. That may be cheating but that's kind of standard of care nowadays for gigantism...
