Not worth the injuries if you're already close let alone above western average height, at which point facial surgery would be much more beneficial, also tall height won't increase the SMV of a sub5 face

Most of the reports on it are exegerated.
From Somebody who has ACTUALLY DONE LL.
I can tell you its just a boring surgery.
You will have some discomfort/sleeping problems though it but not beeing able to walk without crutches and needing to be careful for 3 months is worse.
the pain even after surgery was much easier than other surgerys.
Maybe, if it goes wrong you just get put on disability
