Would you find happiness in prison?

A prisoner's life is completely cut off from society, and the general pressures or norms don't exist. There are no expectations of you, no responsibilities, you've already hit rock bottom,and those there with you are also at rock bottom. They don't have anything you don't have. Your life consists of three meals, exercise, reading, and sleeping.

There are some things that are always rumored, like rape and prison gangs, even then, would you be happier, or be able to find happiness in that environment?

Well, I could do that in Germany, I'm a citizen there - but I don't really want to do it tbh. I'm still not rock bottom and I'm sincerely too circumspect for it. I don't think I'll ever go ER/Paddock/Breivik/whatever.
