This is the scenario. The Mexican government offers you a job. You must dive into the sewer system of Mexico City that is filled with toxic waste 5 times a week for several hours a day. Your tasks include unclogging pipes, repairing pipes, lines, and other underground city infrastructure, and maintaining your equipment.
This job is not easy. It is probably one of, if not the most, disgusting jobs in the world. You are going to be swimming in metric tons of human and animal feces. You will smell horrid, and be trapped in a hot, gross, smelly, disgusting suit for hours at a time every day.
You are required to live in Mexico City but you will be given a decent apartment to start with in a safe part of the city, given government benefits/insurance, and a salary of around $50k USD (or whatever the equivalent in Mexican pesos is), with the potential for salary raises over time based on performance.
The stipulation is that you will work this job UNTIL RETIREMENT by contract, so until you are 65 years old. And you are the only diver for the city, so you have a limited number of sick days and vacation days.
As additional compensation, the Mexico City government has agreed to provide you with a wife of your choosing, but you must negotiate this "additional benefit" with a government approved negotiator. They ask you what your minimum standards in a wife are. Looksmatch, Becky, or Stacy? Which one would you do this horrid job for? Or none at all?
