I agree, and have noticed that too.

For many it's more about wanting to look top tier and better than others, rather than adhering to the "involuntary celibate" term and basing it around relationship success. It's very clear especially in the younger generation too, consuming all of their nonsense on social media and wanting to look like a model, rather than to struggle in relationships (which is what the core and main area of this site is for).

For me it’s all about the sex. I don’t have self-esteem issues tbh.

I try not to get caught up in fantasizing about relationships, I think it’s a silly waste of time because I just immediately get sucked out of it when I remember how things would actually be in real life if a woman somehow gave me a chance; dead bedroom, getting harped on for every little thing, and getting used for my money. That’s just how it is.
