People more so worship the idea of an Elliot Rodger, a one-dimensional caricature that they can inject with their own ideals and their resentment towards women and wider soyciety. If they were to actually interact and engage with ER himself, their perception of him would shatter. It's evident from his Youtube channel that the man was self-absorbed and out of touch with reality, I wouldn't call him attractive but I'd certainly chance to say that he mogs every genuine incel on this forum.
