I created an extensive world language tier list. The languages are ordered from God tier to subhuman tier based on how based and good they sound to me. I didn't put all the languages in the tier list, I only put the languages I'm familiar with and know what they sound like based on the videos I could find about them

What do you think?

Based for putting irish in alpha

Nah I learned a bit of it in school but I've mostly forgotten it. Would be cool to learn though
Cool, you definitely should learn Irish since it's a part of your heritage

As a German speaker the weirdest sounding languages to me are dutch and Afrikaans. Can't understand either and they sound like a mix of wrong German and weird English.

Arabic has one of the richest, powerful and descriptive words ever.

Afrikaans is such an ugly language tbh, I can't stand it at all

Horrible tier list. What did you even base this on? Just general feeling towards that language? You need more extensive knowledge about different languages tbh, or you would have rated some differently because of cool features they have.

By sound and as I said in the OP, it's not supposed to be an objective list. Those are my personal favourites based on the videos I have seen about each of those languages. If I rated them based on usefulness or how they sound to the majority of people, the list would of course look very different

Can you pinpoint in what way Dutch sounds more English to you than German? As a Dutchie, I'm curious.

Lifefuel for portuguesecels :feelsautistic:

No way there are a group of languages in Myanmar and Thailand called the Karen languages :feelskek::feelskek::feelskek:

I didn't really mean to say it sounds more English than German, it sounds like a mix. Let me revise: I think dutch sounds more similar to German, but to my ears (perspective), "wrong" because it sounds quite similar to German
