Working is mostly pointless sometimes

If I got a job, I’d have to pay for medical insurance. And even then insurance doesn’t cover 100%.
I’d have to pay for a car, car insurance and gas.
I’d have to pay for food.


Right now, I have free healthcare and get free food.
Thanks to social security.

I don’t need a car because I literally have all day to get where I need to go.
I have plenty of time to walk there.

Basically, I can’t afford to work.

With all the healthcare I use, the food I eat, the rent I pay………..I’d have to make $30 an hour just to maintain my current living standards.

If I worked for minimum wage, I’d have to move back in with my parents.

I’m living a better life by not working.

There's a good video about exactly what you speak. You get a job, you get some money, you buy things, and then you have maintain those things, pay taxes, and then you need to keep your job so you can keep getting money. Next thing you know you're a slave to society

The alternative would be a minimalistc life, if you live by yourself.

Find a job with optional overtime. Sometimes you gotta work 10-12 hours a day.
