Which makes more sense to you? It's a no brainer for me tbh. Staying at home and living on government benefits is the better choice. More money is not worth it if it compromises your freedom.

However, if you can studycel into a top IVY and secure an extremely high paying job at some finance firm (150k+). I think working for a few years (5 max) and then living off that and government benefits makes sense

Do a public exam and work for the government with stability, best choice you could do, especially if you are young

You feel that giving away your finite amount of time for 40/50k is worth it?

neither. Grind some tech bullshit and u do 4-6hrs a work daily (later alot less too,3-4) and get 80k.

If you have stability + government benefits ([UWSL]food and transportation vouchers + health insurance), then yes[/UWSL]

in USA this varies a lot. Many government jobs are completely shit and trash(especially social worker), but some are very good(100k+, free healthcare, free travel). U need do ur research

Same in Brazil, but the highest paid workers are public workers and they can't get fired (unless they commit a crime or stop working without justification).

He just needs to do a public exam, though he would need a course

True. I have heard security clearance jobs are very good pay. Also embassy jobs

do part time 20 hours for around 900 dollars a month live frugally and save or reinvest the extra 200 dollars each month in cryptocurrencies like ethereum at lows of under 1800 dollars

then retire before the wage slave does

$200/month isn’t even remotely livable, even if you were an ascetic monk who never buys food or clothing or gas thats not enough for rent

Maby $200/week

You live in brazil? You might aswell just do crime lol. Your country doesn't even have a proper police force. :feelskek:

Usually governments give you some separate amount for rent and stuff and average $200 to live on

If u can do this with ur parents letting u pocket the rent money could be worth it

An Ivy League education is far from a guarantee that you will break into IB and earn $150k/year (incl. bonus). Competition at bulge brackets is extremely fierce, even among Ivy Leaguers, unless daddy is a client or a partner. No one ambitious enough to jump through the hoops of networking, internships, dozens of AI interviews, blah blah blah to work 90-hour weeks at Goldman or Moelis (because analysts are basically slaves) for five years would accept the shitty standard of living that is NEETbux. Does burnout happen? Yes, absolutely. It's not uncommon for junior bankers to change career paths. But no one in their right mind would ever waste such an excellent start in their careers.

Police officers who do certain exams are in the 95-99th percentile of income and it isn't that dangerous in safe states (even safer than some US ones)

Moving is very hard and even though I can get an eu citizenship (which would make going to portugal not needed), it takes very long and it isn't an easy process, so better just stick here

u will never be able to retire in Brazil. If u go to euroCucks and money Maxx then return. Retirement will at least be possible.

Where tf would you live on 200 a month? A cardboard box in an alleyway?

That’s right. Although family connections seems to be the most important. I don’t go to an Ivy League school but I have an internship lined up since my parents are friendly with a hedge fund CEO.

What can you even do with 200 per month in USA?
