of course it won't happen, in the USA at least

cope. catfishing should be and will be illegal

Makeup should be illegal then.

Catfishing is sort of illegal already.
It is under identity theft. Thing is someone would need to prove some damage was caused to the one you took the identity from and you could be sued. So it is a gray area of the law right now as I doubt anyone would bother but it could be done.

They will also try that with the sex dolls, you can already see how much hate they have for them.

Soon, all forms of unwanted communication between Ugly men and Women will be deemed illegal. It will all be filed under the umbrella term of "harassment". This will start with catcalling, then it will move to cold approaching, messaging on social media, and then eventually any sort of romantic intention will be illegal. Next, Genetically inferior men will be slowly pushed out of the job market and education. Lastly, they will be rounded up and genocided so no woman will ever have to look at an ugly man ever again.

That's why there's VPNs and VMs so you can catfish on virtual devices behind seven proxies. I admire the courage of those who just use their phones and their own internet to catfish.

I wouldn't bet against it. This is a golden age of internet freedom. It won't last.
