I was listening to one of my usual slop review podcasts covering the Minecraft movie and they had a female guest, one of the things she brought up was that they should have done more to show off how hot Jason Mamoa is because in her words "Lots of women go to the cinema just to look at hot guys" and there was an implication that they'd also bring their family with them. This is obviously a water take for this forum but what surprised me was how shamelessly and matter-of-factly she said it as though she doesn't even realize how bad it makes her and her sex look, it's analogous to a man bringing his wife and kids to a strip club in intent and yet she expects it to be viewed as innocent and unworthy of note.
