In an analysis of 100 male dating app bios and 100 female dating app bios from 25 of the largest U.S. cities each, they found this:
Men are more likely to mention animals or pets, way more likely to mention outdoors (women typically don't mention it), more likely to mention music, and are less likely to, but often do, mention emojis.
Women swipe left a lot because women have much higher physical standards and women are more conventionally attractive than men. Even gay men have lower physical standards than straight women.
It's difficult for men to look attractive. They mostly have to rely on solely genetics. Women can put on makeup and instantly look more attractive.
