Those types of clothing were all invented in Europe. Where I live, it's unberable to dress like that in the summer. There are other types of clothing that can make you look modest and not revealig much and are not as hot, but those are only used by Muslims.

But in burgerland and even a lot of South America in the early 20th century people dressed like that even in the summer and they still had hot days back then.
