Women are like chickens. They’re only good for laying eggs and for making the garden/farm look nice.

Traditionally speaking, you cannot expect a women to help you make serious decisions, make plans, engage in politics and in leadership, build things, etc.

True. But most "chickens" these days are waiting till they're in their 30s before laying eggs, screwing their future hens over. The farmers really need to start putting their foot down and make them lay earlier.
