Looks and money are truly all that matters. Genes and ability to provide for offspring. A man's traits beyond that are entirely irrelevant - whether he's a devious liar, honest, reckless, smart, dumb, cheater, scumbag, bully, heroic, criminal, decent, etc etc. A father used to perceive these things on behalf of his daughter.
