People just refuse to look at me. Even when I talk to them they turn their faces and look somewhere else. I try to hold eye contact but the other person refuses to reciprocate. Nobody wants to talk to me. It's like I have "Virgin" written on my face.

i’m just in my room i don’t look at anyone, although i don’t look at people when i rarely go outside either. they’re a blur

i /can/ look at people’s faces but didn’t bother to when i had a job back there. and i /can/ look them straight in their eyes when they start shit that in so doing throws them off. for me this doesn’t mean i’m doing it on purpose, just there’s no way to know who the realcels are since everything has been the same

I would say it makes life easier to not stick out like a sore thumb.

If you look subhuman/ weird enough, but not to the point where you're obviously deformed or disabled, then in my experience normfags think it's acceptable to glare, give dirty looks, sometimes snigger etc. In groups, that gets amplified. It sucks, being invisible isn't good I know, but I'd take it over being an alien freak in the eyes of others.
