So far, we don't have confirmed proof that God exists.

If God exists, then He is not here, or He doesn't care about us. Or He is here, but chooses never to intervene directly for whatever reason.

If that's the case, it makes virtually no difference to us if He exists or not. The result is still the same: we are suffering helplessly.

I see no point in caring about a God that never intervenes to help us and give us better lives. It would be cucked to worship a God who never helps you and doesn't care about you. It would make more sense to worship the Sun at that point, since the Sun is visible and directly helps us.

If God doesn't exist, then there is no point either way in entertaining the question and spending the energy to think about it.

There is no point in this question. If God existed and He showed proof, everyone would already believe and the question would not exist.

People are spazzing out right now thinking AI is going to be a new age god. Well at least AI is real and creating by humans. AI will have massive tangible benefits to people as well. Of course no one will appreciate that now because their brains are fried (ironically) by algorithms.

People will rationalize their beliefs no matter how stupid it is. I'm sure someone would rebut this by saying god gives "free will" or something and that's why he lets tragedies happen. Religion mostly serves to keep animalistic people in line. Some people literally cannot hold back their sadistic urges or burn everything around them down without the threat of hell... and most of them do it anyway.

Arguing over whether "god" exists is the same as arguing over whether "glozorgionadcovnitote" exists.

Yup

How can he intervene if everything was predetermined already

You just stated what Epicureans believed in 2500 years ago. Metaphysics has evolved since then.

Also, you can't prove the existence of God if he is defined to be a being that existed before this realm we inhabit and that he created. We don't have the tools to prove his existence.

He can intervene by giving me a woman who can give me love and affection

I don't actually care about proving or disproving His existence.

I only want Him to intervene to help subhumans. If He exists, but doesn't intervene, or is not omnipotent to be able to come back from whatever realm He is on, then He doesn't deserve our worship.

If god existed, I would have a hot gf

@Sir Silentium thoughts?

Eh it's not even worth replying to.

I used to make in depth, lengthy replies to posts like this constantly, but gradually stopped as the users are blasphemous and will never convert, even if God himself is speaking to them.

So I just skim past these

I just need the God to give me a woman who can offer me love and affection. Should that happen, I would sincerely become a monk and dedicate my life to spiritually and worship.

No pussy, no God worship.

we are god's unwanted children

Im pretty sure this question is very important due to its metaphysical weight. Since explaining what God is, is similar to what reality is, given God omnipotence and its identity as the source.

Whatever he real or not, right now you right it is irrelevant given our life situations, but long term, including after death, we'll move on from our shackles and loops of life into something else. Hence the God question is still relevant to some degree when it comes to truth seeking.

But honestly God really did that. Created male sex drive and that insatiable drive for impregnating a girl, but we cant find a foid for it. Thats honestly torturous.

If God intervened in everyone's interest all the time there would be constant contradictions. It just wouldn't go well.
