Optimism is just the natural way humans function other interpretations of life do not simply exist in a particular sense, because

-if you rope you are certaint that death is better than your life -optimism
-if you dont rope you are certaint that life is better than your death-optimism

The only thing holding normies back from roping is either morals that religions provide (but id argue that 90% of relogious normies dont actually believe in the morals that their own religion provide, they are religious by name and by faith but not by morals meaning that they believe in God , Jesus. But they dont follow their teachings) or in most cases the uncertainty of life If you'd know for sure that death is more beneficial for you than living than you'd for sure commit suicide, same vice versa
