People often say that men who play female characters are “troons in denial.” While that may be true in some cases, I think the most common reason is simply inceldom.
In my experience, it’s often unattractive men who end up playing female characters. For them it’s not about wanting to be a woman, it’s about feeling close to one. Playing a female character gives them a sense of companionship, a woman they can protect and care for.
For me personally it’s not about being her, it’s about controlling her. I enjoy directing her movement, picking sexy outfits for her and so on.
I think for a lot of guys, playing as a female is just a way of coping with not having a woman in their life.
