I’ve read many times that somehow slavery ended because of blacks rebelling or some other bs but the truth is that unarmed people rebelling couldn’t do anything against people who armed asf and have perfect control of their environment the reason why slavery ended here is because it was voted so while in the middle east it’s still practiced, obviously you could say that wageslaving is still slavery but I’m not talking about that, the point as I was saying is that it didn’t matter wether the slaves were rebelling or not since they would have gained more according to their objectives by killing slaves and not having any work from them anymore than by letting them free, the reason why it doesn’t exist is because it was acknowledged as unethical.

You do realize that most people in that time were farmers right and the South was relatively unindustrialized and agarian right. If anything, it helped to enrich the white working class as it helped small-time farmers in the South able to make more money and much of an better living by treating their slaves well or somewhat fine i guess.

Slavery was pointless except for 1% of plantation owners who relied on mass quantity of cheap slave labor. For the rest it was like a sassy black housemaid or one farmhand. Can hire a cracker instead easily
