When it comes to human sexuality being a correlator of the sexes there are only two functional categories. Either you're heterosexual or you're homosexual. Asexuals don't exist to any rational person so we need not waste time discussing them.
What determines your orientation is the target of your physical attraction. If you're exclusively into adult females you're straight. So it follows that attraction to anyone else including children is gay right?
Not so fast you might say. What gives you the right to bifurcate between adult and prepubuscent females. They differ in form but they're both still female. Surely its an arbitrary distinction you're making! To determine that we first have to consider what constitutes attraction.
It goes without saying that gender is the foundation of attraction but not the sole or even determining factor. Its not someones birth genitals that draws you in. Nor are you tantalized by an abstract category. The real meat on the bones comes from dimorphism which for hetero men is expressed by fertile bodily cues as well as exclusively feminine faces.
Exclusivity here is relative. It obviously doesn't mean variance down to the most minute detail. Some women for example can have male features like broad jaws or hunter eyes but it doesn't break the harmony that allows us to intuit they are women. After a certain threshold for distinguishability the gradient of female traits varying in dimorphism levels all meet a perfectly heterosexual matter of preference.
It's only when womens traits are so similar to mens they become hard to distinguish that it makes them unfeminine. In such rare cases, attraction to those women is gay or at least tending that way. Most sensible people would probably agree. So far our framework remains coherent. Now to tie all this into the final point.
In prepubscent children, boys and girls, there's very little facial dimorphism to the point its negligible. Boys with long hair look like girls in a way men with long hair don't look like women. Archaeologists can guess with a high success rate an adult male from an adult female based on the skull alone. They can't do this with children.
Its only at puberty that meaningful external differences arise. So sexual maturity determines dimorphism which alongside gender constitutes attraction.
Now that we have boys, girls, women and men, we can assess each category and see which ones satisfy the requirements above.
Boys - male, significant dimorphic overlap with girls (they fail on gender so attraction to boys is non hetero)
Men - male, no significant dimorphic overlap with women (they fail on both counts so attraction to men is non hetero)
Girls - female, significant dimorphic overlap with boys (they fail on exclusive dimorphism so attraction to girls is non hetero - in the same class as attraction to androgynous women, boys or trannies).
Women - female, no significant overlap with men (they succeed on both gender and dimorphic exclusivity ; making attraction hetero)
As you can see its only in sexually mature women the two essential factors combine. Anything else is by default gay including a secondary or even passing sexual interest in non women.
Remember hetero orientation isn't a preference or arbitrary category. Its the functional alignment of our biological instincts to the only viable reproductive categories - sexually mature males and females. Any deviation from that has to be the opposite of hetero - homo. There can be no convenient third orientation for those who prey after little girls, attraction to whom falls in the same class as that of boys, trannies and nondistincts.
You might say attraction could be gay but this doesn't necessarily make ones orientation gay. But that just seperates experience from reality.
If you point out that im reducing context and that many pedos quite literally are not gay because they profess to admire only females I'd suggest they actually are.
