There's also the fact that the internet of today is extremely centralized. Most traffic revolves around youtube/reddit/tiktok/twitter etc. Even sites like 4chan are dying.
There are very few active forums around compared to the 2000s. Most active forums are either communities that reddit wouldn't allow (this forum, kiwifarms, pro-ana). Most other forums are just relics from the past that only occasionally get new posts from an old member coming back for a nostalgia trip, and are only still around because the owner just can't let go.
People want to be where everyone else is because they need constant engagement (likes/replies). It's the era of instant gratification and forums just can't give them the hit they need when (and as often as) they need it. So instead they just go to twitter or tik tok. But all the big social media sites censor the blackpill, which is why people like wheat waffles speak in code ("the BEE PEE") and have to tip toe around certain concepts.
Exactly. Only a fraction of the population goes online. Of these, only a fraction uses forums. Of these, only a fraction knows english and therefore uses international sites. And of the incels who do all of that, still only a fraction finds and joins this one site.
It would be ridicolous to expect this community to contain all the incels in the world.
