Why is "Your Name" such a popular anime movie ?

I really dont understand why this is one of the most popular and watched anime movies of all years, if not of all time. I watched it and to me its just another generic love story with no real arc of tension and there is no scene that really was stuck in my head after the movie

That one was utter garbage. After Your Name I watched every similar tearjerker anime film, but that one and Wolf Children were so bad that they made me angry. The title is misleading, too: there are no zombies in the film.
