I think there is some limited variety in regards to facial types, hair styles, etc. Some girls have a "type". Height is the exception though, even the least picky foids want a man taller than them, which if you're shorter than most foids (like me), means it's over for you. Also the small % of foids who are shorter than me are very heightist. A 4ft10 foid is highly unlikely to consider a dude just 2 inches taller, versus say a 5ft10 foid who might even be OK with a dude 1 inch shorter. In other words, don't be short, and if you're short, don't be super short.
