Why is the Skyrim melee combat system so funny?

It’s fun don’t get me wrong, but it’s so hilarious. It feels more like slapping rather than actual sword fights. And the way the enemy’s bodies just bounce off the ground when you get that final hit in, fuck it’s so god damn funny. I have to sometimes pause the game because of it.

Play Oblivion's dark brotherhood questline; very much better than that of Skyrim.
