Gaming Why is Silent Hill 2 praised by so many retards ?
I really like Silent hill 1 and 2.
All time classics. It reflects my life. I really loved the story and the atmosphere. The background music, the dark foggy coastal setting, the atmosphere. Super fucking depressing just like my life.
Honestly, you sound like a retard normie. The average gamer that plays video games for the pure action element. Just like how the average movie director puts in the typical car chase action scene to attract the typical retard normie movie watcher, these are the average normie audience that the director is targeting as that is where the money is. I am the exact opposite, I like a good story that gets you thinking with suspense. If a director were to make a movie targeting sophisticated folks like myself, they would make basically no money at all. Watching car chasing scenes or super heros picking up cars or jumping across rooftops actually bores me to the point where I get extremely pissed.
Anyways back on the topic of SH. I live near the CA coast so the fog always comes in. Sometimes when the fog is really thick and when I am outside at night, I'm reminded of my childhood where I played SH 2 and the resident evil games. And while I have those thoughts while reminiscing, I really wish some random hobo would attack me out of nowhere just like in the game, so that I can have an excuse to get a full mount on him and bash his skull into the cement without mercy.
I play games for the stories (something ALL of these modern games lack, every single one). Final fantasy 8,9,10 were the best. So much memories. I could actually escape the real world and immerse myself into those RPG worlds of exploration and travel.
If I want straight up entertainment I would play Gran Turismo sport, Counter strike, or assetto corsa competizione. Or DCS.
