I’ve also spent some time in looksmax spaces and they were honestly toxic. Most guys there were tall but average-looking and often identified as incels, you rarely see a truly facially attractive guys in those spaces.
I usually get called “cute” and despite being short, I’ve never struggled getting dates. From what I’ve seen irl, facial attractiveness and connection matter way more than pure height. I also see tons of couples who are very similar in height whenever I go out.
So why does Reddit obsess over height so much while undervaluing looks and things like race (e.g., being white)? My theory is height is easy to quantify and more socially acceptable to talk about openly, while discussing looks or racial preferences is more uncomfortable.
What do you think? Why is height so overrated online compared to real life?
He opened the height vs face vs race can of worms on cuckit
