Imo reddit wants to bend the rules to make their site look as female friendly as possible after receiving consistent media coverage over the eyars about how reddit is a male dominated site that doesn't do enough to fight against "hate" or posts/threads that make women feel uncomfortable.
r/ITears got banned mainly because someone was posting about particular IT users instead of just screenshotting what they say with the names blocked out and muted the mod when the mod asked them to stop allowing those posts. That's what put a large target on that sub to get it banned.
Oh yeah. There was the one guy who became obsessed with IT users and just made rants about them. I guess he was responsible for the ban. In general, i feel like people talk way too much about IT. They really can’t do anything since they are all on reddit. They shouldn’t matter.

He wasn't responsible per say but he did provide some kind of actionable thing to lurking rabid, seething ITcels to latch onto to get the sub banned.
If it wasn't him it might have been something else. All the posts on that sub were regularly downvoted by IT users even though it was just pointing out their own words just like they purport to be doing with everyone they call incels.
They can dish it out but can't take it and every day r/ITears was up others could clearly see that.

I once made a comment wishing some bomb threat succeeded and some guy dmed me to delete it. IT gets so mad when people criticize them even though they criticize people all day.

Tradcucks can come from any side of the political spectrum but that are most prominent imo in the extreme rightwing where it is more acceptable to talk about how weak men deserve to die and how men are meant to die for women.
