That surplus value generally won't all go to the prole no matter what. For example, in the Soviet Union you'd be taxed just like in the West, but even more because 1. they'd also need the extra money to run the industry you are working in and possibly even expand it, just like a bourgeois would 2. High overall government spending.
There is not enough jobs anyway, not everyone has to work anymore because of automation. Most jobs have zero value but the government wants everyone working so people will never complain because they will be at work and continue to consoom product so GDP goes up.
that's fair but I don't see anything changing in my lifetime, I can't even get disability when I qualify for it by the government currently and unless something drastic happens I doubt they'll change their current design
