First, therapy always boils down to the same recycled tropes: meditation, mindfulness, cognitive restructuring, meds, journaling, ACT, CBT, DBT, and "living in the moment."

Second, these coping mechanisms ultimately just try to force you to "accept yourself." They won't change your looks, your genetics, your youth, or your future. At the end of the day, you're still just an incel—just one with slightly better emotional regulation.

Third, therapy is almost always a long-term money pit that can drag on for two or three years. It costs an absurd amount of money, and its ROI is terrible compared to actually addressing the root problem. You run the risk of roping before your depression ever gets "cured" anyway.

Fourth, therapy demands a high level of execution and discipline—like taking meds on schedule, meditating daily, and maintaining a strict sleep routine—which is extremely hard to stick to when you're already burnt out.

Speaking from personal experience, I’ve gone through nearly eight different therapists. They all follow the same script: some superficial small talk about how your week went, a bit of guided meditation, and then they let you vent. When I bring up my plans for plastic surgery and limb lengthening, they stay completely noncommittal—neither validating nor dismissing them. As one therapist put it, "It's your life."

Do you have any opinions on preferencing psychologists over therapists? Or still a waste of time?

I believe psychologists to have done an extensive uni degree on the topic, whilst therapists have only done courses... I think

You have to be a pretty green blackpiller to try therapy. Therapy is built by normies for normies. All fake bullshit to help them cope when reality bites them a bit. Stupid ass job but a needed job, because how else are normies going to cope when a reality check comes along?

When I bring up my plans for plastic surgery and limb lengthening,
Dummy. Don't tell them about that. They're not a friendly blackpiller.

Also was your therapist better looking than your or more female than you? That makes it extra pointless.

You're paying this guy or foid $50/h to pretend like you ever materalise outside of their office and notes. Meanwhile they go to their girlfriend or boyfriend in their penthouse suite and have sex and watch Netflix.

Just fucking lol. You could talk to blackpillers for free who will do you better than foidling who believes wamans have been oppressed based on nothing, or a chad who thinks you just need to put yourself out there (whatever that means) because it worked for him.

two things i'll never do

pay for sex, and get therapy

Each to their own, but i cant fathom the idea of paying some chick who did a fugazi degree at uni, to sit there and act like she gives a fuck, more time shes just hoping for the appointment to end sooner to go bang some dude. Truth is nobody gives a single fuck about your problems broo'al.

If you're earning 18$/h, this is you trading and wasting 2.8 + 1 hours ( + transit) of your life to make a fool of yourself.

Therapy is always pointless, because its not how you act that matters, and most of society loves the just world fallacy.

therapy is just brainwash you pay for

There's nothing wrong with OP doing that. It's his therapy, after all. Also, from my (limited) experience, I didn't get the impression all therapists deny all things the blackpill claims. Some of them, were, however, out of touch with young mens' dating/involuntary celibacy struggles and weren't really aware of a lot of things regarding male nature and dynamics at play in mating.
And when that's the case, they can't give you good practical advice on those things. Might as well just watch ybc2cold or something for free then...

You are better off reading the therapy book yourself and trying to figure it out. That’s what they do, you pay for them to read the therapy book for you. It won’t fix your problems but it might help you understand them.

therapist is one of the shitest inventions ever, imagine yourself having to pay for someone to listen to you.. like are you that broken?
laughs person GIF

Just try to moneymaxx, get regular exercise, pick up drawing, watch anime, avoid dealing with foids/normies wherever possible

All do way more for you than muh therapy

Therapy is good for specific mental problems that can be treated. Obviously, it won't do much for external problems. I blame the therapy industry for doing the "everyone should go to therapy" psyop

You must be bluepilled in order for therapy to work on you. There is no therapy for the absolute truth that is the blackpill.

I used to go to therapy, and have been through quite a few. Two of them suggested I'm on the autism spectrum, but neither were qualified to test me, and testing is outrageously expensive for adults. Now, add adult male to the equation, and society is like "Go fuck off, you piece of shit"
