Why i dont like you if you’re a popular user

Im not talking about the people who have been here for over a year and have made consistent high level posts. They earned their popularity legitimately. What im talking about are the people like @nirvana, @ihatelife2 and @sub5ricemale. They are obviously banned now but they were pretty well known and well liked users with tons of followers who also joined super recently.

So you may wonder, how could users who arent even incels garner so much popularity in such a short period of time. The answer is simple.

This is because of neurotypicality, an autist like me could never garner that much recognition in such a short period of time. I dont have the charisma to make posts that wouldn’t be spammed with a bunch of dnrs. Of course having intelligence is important to making well received posts, but having the vernacular and “aura” as the kids would say is an important factor that i don't have. b4 anyones gets on my behind I am definitely not intelligent and have not contributed much to this forum, i know. I promise to do better.

Agree. He (i thought at the time) even wrote me some private messages here. Just talking about her day, some struggles etc. Should've realised he was a foid back then. Looking back many of the comments she made, are blatantly obvious to be of a foid. Still don't get what she got out of this.

Mabe these people were previous banned users? They could know exploits. If you pay attention theres this big ass anomolay of new users getting banned. Im willing to bet these "new users" are actually banned users trying to make there way back. But damn Im glad to not be those banned users. This place is basicly my 2nd home. After the user was already banned here, i was invited to his (i thought still at the time) discord server. She laid it all out there about her being a foid larping. She told me in a voice message that she is struggling with loneliness and agrees with the black pill, which is the reason for her being on .is - and that she cannot find a mate despite having a lot of matches because they are looking all just for casual sex according to her (aka she hasn't found Chad yet). Some stuff about being bullied in school too about looks too. I left shortly afterwards.

I knew something was off about that user from the jump, but I never suspected them to be a woman. I did however suspect they were lying about their age. When they signed up they claimed to be 38 but I strongly suspected they were lying about their age, and potentially underage but I didn't have any smoking gun evidence. They did post a pic of an underage teenage boy, claiming it to be a "friend from discord" and asked if they looked incel, which was the main thing that triggered my suspicions they were underage themselves (why would a 38 year old man be online friends with an underage teen?). But apparently she was a woman in her 30s, which I certainly didn't see coming. Certainly a plot twist.

I was tempted to permaban him his first few weeks, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt by just letting him off with warnings/temp bans until it became apparent he wasn't going to change his behavior.

Things like this are why recently I've begun to trust my instincts more when it comes to new users. If a new user behaves in a way that gives me the impression that they're posting in bad faith (like starting fights or posting ragebait right away) I'm just going to permaban them straight away and be done with them rather than let them shit up the forum for 3 or 4 months and wait until they've accumulated a dozen warnings before finally pulling the trigger.
