Well before society existed and humans were hunters and such they had to kill to get their own food. This is probably why girls are so attracted to such features like high cheekbones hunter eyes and height.

Well humans for many many years were hunters as i said before and obviously the bigger you were the easier it was to hunt and fight a animal. Compare 5 feet man thousands of years ago fighting a bear vs a 6 feet man fighting one. Obviously 6 feet has the advantage in height. I think this is why girls like taller guys more. Cuz those instincts and genes never left them they are interested in guys who have such traits as hunter eyes or tall height. The height would let u fight animals easier, maybe tue high cheekbones protect the face from hits. Same for a strong chin to protect hits.

So when girls always prefer taller guys. That is probably thousand year old instincts in them prefering a better hunter

Tbh, even if height serves zero survival or reproductive advantage , the mere fact that women prefer tall guys is enough to make it incredibly important.
