Why don't job interviewers tell you WHY you never got the job in many cases?

I am trying hard to get a new job. I work in finance/accounting.

I get interviews and fail to get the position so I write a polite(ChadGPT written and approved) email asking why I never got the job, and they don't even bother replying. Happened twice with these two obese, landwhale interviewers who ignored my email.

Why? Does this happen to anyone else?

Because if they state a reason that could be construed to be "discriminatory" they could potentially be opening themselves up for a discrimination lawsuit by an embittered candidate. It is the same reason why companies often cut people without giving a real reason so they can legally cover their asses if somebody tries to take them to court.
