Was your school a dedicated boys school like mine? Oddly there's a load of schools for autistic and challenging boys in my country but hardly any for autistic girls, it's like the girls are given a free pass by their peers and thus the bullying experienced by undesirable males doesn't happen in their case so no need to herd them up and send them to a funny farm. At most they end up in on a mental ward threatening to kill themselves for the 10th time.

Did you prefer the classes with no girls? I preferred all male classes compared to the mixed classes at my previous school, the absence of females made guys less prone to bullying low value males like me and people generally got on better without the need to compete for female attention.
When I was 20 I went to register my little brother for his freshman year of high school and they were asking me if I was excited to start high school. I was frequently refused service in bars or asked for additional ID when I was 21. I started working out at 22 and by 23 people were less surprised to hear my age. Now at 25, I dont even get carded every time.
I last got asked for ID when I was 26, the foid behind the counter got her supervisor to double check it wasn't fake.
