I know they aren't entitled to not being abused, but it's pretty obvious that if they watched movies with protagonists that weren't abused children, they would understand how to not get beaten by their alcoholic father, right? I know a kid who isn't getting abused, so I don't really know what these children that get beaten daily are complaining about.
