Y'know, if Trump wanted unwavering support from the masses, why not create a massive youth program for all the children and young people to join? They'd march up and down, do community service and help around gaining more support for the ruling party. After 20 years, the Republicans or Democrats or whoever makes it first would be supported basically forever.

Because Trump is a libertarian, and the creation of a youth organization will provoke accusations from other libertarians from the Republican Party that the youth organization is an attempt to cause collectivism. All of today's mainstream right extols hyperindividualism and abhors any idea of collectivism. Since collectivism is always in their views - communism or fascism.

Any youth organization is accused of communism or fascism (In the Third Reich there was the Hitler Youth, and in the USSR there were pioneers and the Komsomol)
