Definetly a lot of speedrunners are trannies and other freaks as well but i feel like its more of an american thing. European speedrunners are less likely to be trannies there still are abnormaly high amount of them and its because trannies find niche things and then kick out the original creators through sheer numbers through discord raids. If you look even at older GDQ there used to be way less trannies.

Back when I got into speedrunning around 6 years ago it wasn't as bad as it is now with the infestation of trannies, must have been that Ocarina of Time tranny that brought all the trannies to speedrunning
