It's like with capitalism. As long as there was competition with the Soviet Union and a potential threat from communists, the capitalists used their mouthpieces to let them babble something about "trickle-down economy". And, of course, as long as there was this potential threat, they couldn't exploit working people that much yet. They had to make some concessions because they had to fear a communist revolution. Since the Soviet Union has been defeated by the evil US empire, though, the living standard for those who do not own any capital (factories, etc.) themselves, goes down and down and down. Now, in late-stage capitalism / monopolism, the mouthpieces of the capitalists do not even talk about trickle-down economics anymore, they just talk about the lobsters and how hierarchies are just natural and how the poor only have themselves to blame and how we have to watch out for the radicals and the cultural Marxists who spread the sin of jealousy among working people that are now treated like cattle and livestock.
Same with sexuality. Sex-wise, we're where we were economically-wise in the late 90s or so. We still see some of those lies about how most people are in relationships (=most people will profit from capitalism if only they wait for the wealth to trickle down and work hard) but we also increasingly see propaganda about how one doesn't "deserve" a relationship, how one is SELFISH for wanting one, and how even seeking one too aggressively is morally wrong (harassment). I think we're at the tipping point right now. Just like Jordan Peterson and all these right-wingers do not talk about trickle-down economics anymore but about "natural hierarchies" and the Satanic sin of jealousy, are the "late-stage feminist" mouthpieces now talking about how men do not deserve a relationship. Sex, love, relationship might or might not happen but always remember that you do not deserve it anyway.
After all, women want to be sluts for a minority of exceptionally attractive high-status men while criminalizing the sexual and romantic desires of unattractive men: they are supposed to be desexed human cattle, genderless livestock, living in some isolated ghetto and not even DARING to even LOOK at a woman in her slutty clothes because that's just CREEPY and harassment and those peasants have to know their fucking place and keep their gaze submissively lowered and step off the sidewalk when a WOMYN appears.
