First of all, "alt-right" is a shitty buzzword created by controlled opposition among the American right-wing. It means absolutely nothing, everyone on the right-wing spectrum, from libertarians to white supremacists are called alt-right nowadays so that term is just meaningless.
But as for why people would associate incels with far-right groups, I think it's because incels tend to be the one most attracted to extremist ideologies as they give them both the sense of purpose which they lack and an ability to move up on the social rank of society which will get women more attracted to them. Most ISIS recruits were incels, most of the core members of the NSDAP were incels or at the very least very awkward around women (Hitler, Himmler, Goebbels).
