Why do women care about face more? Usually if a guy is facialwise 3/10 but body 10/10 a girl will give him 0 chance regardless. whereas if a women is 3/10 but body 10/10 a man will want her regardless. The intent of human mating is to mate with the best genetically fit partner which a good face does not effect at all. So when considering mates why do women focus on face more? This shouldn’t be something that have changed due to “protection issue” handsome man have always been the focus in medieval art works and even way back more, so obvisiuly people cared about face more.

for the same reason female orangutans prefer men with developed flanges or the female peahen prefers the peacock with the most colourful feathers. it is the women who care about face more because they are the ones who have to choose men with good genetics, it's just natures way

I don't think they care about face at all, it more about the men's confidence, hygiene, personality and how he treats women. Looks really don't matter to women.
