Why do retards say Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a "masterpiece"?

It's fucking mediocre. The combat is complete dogshit. It's pop out for 0.01 seconds from cover, take a pot shot, then get back into cover and wait for your health to regenerate to repeat this process again and again. Some people say the stealth is good but I don't see it. Stealth is also boring as fuck in 99% of games. I want fast paced action, not crawling around on my hands and knees for hours memorizing enemy movement patterns and moving around them.

Jenson is a sexhaver so I can't take the story seriously as Chad simulator. also his voice acting is bad. You just can't top JC Denton's voice from the first Deus Ex game. Soundtrack sucks because you can barely tell that it's there and none of the tracks are notable. Also all the augments are centered around stealth and basically none for people who like combat. Fucking Cyberpunk is better than this shit.

I feel the same about the Resident Evil franchise. A literal "Look at how they massacred my boy" moment.

As for voice acting, I really like how in some GTA III mod the developers have let some community member do the voice acting for some of the characters.

I wish game developers would do the same. Imagine being part of the development of the game and making history that way.

His other stuff is weak, but this OST is my kind of stuff.

I REALLY enjoyed the ambient music / soundtrack of Zombie Panic Source.

Just listening to the music alone always gives me goose bumps. When you play the game as a survivor and the music plays in the background and all of a sudden your fellow survivors stop responding, or very few of them and it gets quieter and quieter, then the music feels like it is getting louder at the same time and I just get paranoid and scared shitless.

For me it is horror atmosphere well done.

Should I remember more, I will tell you.

When you play the game as a survivor and the music plays in the background and all of a sudden your fellow survivors stop responding, or very few of them and it gets quieter and quieter, then the music feels like it is getting louder at the same time and I just get paranoid and scared shitless.

At first I thought it was overrated when completing it but after thinking about it, my mind completely changed. No game is able to keep me at full attention for 4 hours straight like Deus Ex The Conspiracy could, the soundtrack was awesome and I already have 6 or 7 songs from it in my playlist, and while the gameplay was technically "mediocre" to modern day standards, I still enjoyed it a ton. Also the story is great, something we'll never see again.

yes, it was a big step back in a lot of ways. i can acknowledge some of the things it does that are kind of better, but they just don't make up for the overall drop in quality and novelty compared to the first Deus Ex.

some of the things I liked about Human Revolution are how the augmentation tree is open and you can get whatever augs you want with more freedom, since you don't need to find canisters. and the early levels are more open as well and you can explore more freely than in the original Deus Ex, at least when you are still in Detroit because it gets more closed off later.

i also played a bit of Mankind Divided and kinda got bored, i wanted to finish it just to know what the game is like, but the start is really boring and uninteresting, like damn.

It has helped me a lot too. It got better over time.
In my case it can still heal, I think, but it will take time and care

This game is a 7/10 at best. The worst part is how they force you to play as a simp and cuck. Right at the start, Jenson almost gets murdered because his girlfriend betrays him. Later in the campaign, you meet her and learn the whole truth, but instead of taking revenge the game forces you to save her jfl. There's also a cucked mission where you have to save prostitutes who had their pussies forcefully augmented. The story was definatly written by cucks.

I don't agree with the OST being bad tho. Michael McCann's music is god tier and carries this mediocre game.
