Why do normies (specially foids) like Macbooks so much?

Seriously the only people I've seen using Macbooks are foids and some random normie hipster. Overpriced laptops for people who don't really like computers and want something that is very easy to use for basic shit like browsing the internet or using the text processor, some do video/photo editing on Mac but still a minority. If your Mac breaks and the warranty doesn't cover it good luck because probably repairing it will be impossible or very costly unlike repairing a normal computer which is much easier to repair. Also Macbooks have very retarded design decisions like not having normal USB ports so you have to buy Apple USBs and external drives (or their adaptor) instead of the normal ones. Plus you can't game on Mac.

Because it's considered more attractive to have spent money on a premium brand, I read somewhere recently that guys with iphones are considered more attractive than guys with android.

He figured out what Rolex and co. have figured out. What people want is something that is expensive so they can show off their higher status than other people.

So Apple had the idea to take a $1,000 laptop.. and sell it for $2,500. But with the Apple logo on it. No nerd would ever have thought of that. Nerds are always competing on who can buy the cheapest ram and the most ram.

They're not really overpriced. XPS will cost about the same for the same specs.
Usually people, who say macs are overpriced compare them to some cheap-ass acers. Well they think they're leet, but they're not.


With regard to gaming agree. Macs aren't gaming machines. Now they're ARM so good luck running anything made for x86.
