On YouTube the only games I see being played are always some low IQ subhuman multiplayer game like, fornite, marvel rivals, black ops 7 or shit like that
Good point, if a game is hinged on online play enough, then one can basically ignore all of the qualities of the actual game itself.

Normies never appreciated single player games. Back when single player was the primary form of gaming, the people who engaged with gaming were a lot less normie than gaming's current demographics. The advent of multiplayer just allowed more normies to get into gaming.
Single player games actually have good gameplay and don't rely on micro transactions and online play, theres alot of good online games but single player games are typically the peak of gaming

Normies do play single player games though. Games like God of war and tlou are popular with them. They just play multiplayer games on the side. There are also many different variations of the normie too.
God of War and The Last of Us are great games. Playing multiplayer games at all is what ultimately shows their decadence.
