Experiment Why do movies look weird if the FPS is over 24?

Games and real life videos look better in higher framerates, but movies just look fake. For example, the hobbit films were released in 48 fps and everything looked fake as fuck, like a real life play or some shit. But if thats true, then why do games and youtube videos look amazing in 60 FPS or higher?

eh idk i havent noticed much difference, but ill give you a little fun fact which is kinda related to your thread

- movies played on television are sped up as much as possible but not to make it actually noticeable. Gotta fit dem advertisements in.

Because Life itself has natural motion blur which is more prevelant in 24 fps
