Most right-wingers claim to be contrarian, which they are in most ways and I commend them for it, but they also tell parents to spank their children, give them strict rules, and make sure they fear and obey their parents and shit like that, all in the name of “discipline” and “boundaries.” I find this so frustrating as a right-winger myself because it teaches kids to be NPC and is mostly based on third world values.
