Therefore, Canada is not quite the USA because everyone can come there and build a life there. This is just a direct continuation of Great Britain in North America, starting from the laws, law, culture, monarchy to the ethnic composition of most Canadians before the period of immigration from the third world, most Canadians were British (Scots, English, Irish) while in the USA most Americans are Germans.
