While it's besides the point of this thread, the main problem with communism isn't really the ideology, ironically it's people themselves. We can't have equality, as the moment such a thing is reached we'll create hierarchy all over again, or the manner in which we try to dominate each other will simply take a different form.
Someone might claim they want "equality", but really what they want is to reorganize societal order to put themselves in a more powerful position, hence why I despise human nature.
